As you already know, I just love my hometown. Today is the 4th of July and it's one of my favorite holidays. I love the American pride, the hometown parade, and fireworks. There is a lot going on in our town these first couple weeks of July thanks to the Lincolnton DDA. One of them is a contest for the local independent businesses to decorate for the 4th of July. Downtown looks so great right now in all it's Red, White & Blue. You can see all the pics that the Lincolnton DDA took here. All of the business fronts look so great. I wanted to show off a few of my favorites so I went this morning to take a few pics for myself. I wanted to get some before things get crowded down there for tonight's festivities.
I can't take full credit for the above photo. While I did take it, someone at the DDA took it first and shared it. I thought it was a very clever and awesome photo so I replicated it for myself. Don't you just love the flags in the window while the Court House is reflected on the window. You can see the original here.

One of them is a Cash Mob, which I think is very cool. I plan to participate.
According to the Lincoln Times, this mural was painted by 17 year old Laurel Diciuccio of Maiden. She did and incredible job!
